In class we are now seeing something about English history, in particular about Henry VIII and his six wives. If anybody has an especial interest in reading something more about that period and the Tudors in general, there is an English author who writes novels about this part of English history. Her name is Philippa Gregory and in case anyone wants to know, here are the titles of her books on the period. 
- Philippa Gregory. The Other Boleyn Girl . This novel is about Henry's first and second wives: Katherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn. This beautiful book tells us the story of Katherine of Aragon, who left Spain to marry Arthur, the heir to the English throne, and how she managed to survive and become queen again after her husband died just a year after their wedding. This is a must-read. :)
